Use of SSR markers to study genetic polymorphism in members of the Ribes L. genus from the VNIISPK collection

This study was the first time in Russia to carry out a large-scale (127 samples) assessment of diverse gene pool black currant and red currant, intervarietal polymorphism between varieties Ribes L. genus from VNIISPK collection. A cluster analysis genetic similarity (53 varieties), (73 varieties) one gooseberry variety performed using 14 SSR markers. Based on data obtained, dendrogram built, which number clusters with high bootstrap support (BS, %) were distinguished. At BS>50%, coefficients pairwise varied 0.4 0.91. The studied representatives merged into two main currant. blackcurrant joined by gooseberries. method allows reveal broad perspectives field identifying affiliation species.
